About

This blog is about life through my feeble perspective and what can be learned from every experience in life to produce growth.  So you’re going to get random shots of life…from my life and those around me.

I am a mid-30s guy with an experience load that seems to get more and more diverse as time goes on.  Four kids help with that I guess.  I try to live by four “re-” words that form up my life mantra:

Life will always throw us a different pitch.  It might be a fastball, in which things are straightforward.  It might be a curveball, in which you are completely caught off guard by the circumstances that come your way.  And then there’s the  wild pitch, where things just go to hell.  No matter what life throws our way, 90% of it is how we respond to it.  But having a base, a constant driving force that helps you push through it, is vital.  And that is the focus of this blog.  I’m on that journey.  Will you join me?

  1. Kevin – Great site. I had the chance to read through some of your posts. I am off work this week but would like to connect with you next week to talk a bit about Band of Brothers. Keep writing – the 4 R’s mantra is excellent. I too have four children and we can swap stories on experiences!

  2. Enjoyed the Mantra series. I think you do have a definite writing skill that should continue to be used, and who knows, maybe you’ll write a spirit led book about your life experiences.
